Association Rule 13: Courtesy of the Green
The members of any Member Club staging an Association competition shall be granted the Courtesy of the Green by
all other Member Clubs for the duration of the competition, subject to any local rules as to “starting sheets”
and “restricted starting times for ladies”, other than the club who has made available their course for the
Ladies of Member clubs of the Association, to hold their events.
Association Rule 14: Concessionary Green Fee
Association members wishing to play on another member course may do so in accordance with
that club’s regulations on starting times.
The concessionary green fee will be set by each club and apply from Monday to Friday.
Certain Clubs will operate a “Starting Sheet” on which you will be allowed to reserve a starting time.
At the other Clubs you will not be able to reserve a starting time.
You MUST ring the Professional of the club to ascertain at what time you are permitted to start.
Please note that each club does have different rules as to visiting and that the Professional will only
be applying that Club’s Rules.
If you are not permitted to play as early as you would wish you should not argue with the Professional.

Mixed Championship at Whitefield on Sunday 29th April
Championship Trophy at Swinton Park on Sunday 24th June
Commonwealth Trophy at Swinton Park on Sunday 24th June
Ladies Team Event at Rochdale on Sunday 24th June
Fourball Trophy at Worsley on Sunday 19th August
Ladies Four-Ball Event at Prestwich on Sunday 19th August
Senior’s Trophy at Stand on Wednesday 9th September
There are other NWMGA events taking place that are not all-day events and so the
“Courtesy of the Course” does not apply on these dates:
Junior Team Trophy at Rochdale – Sunday 27th May (Tee times probably 1030 to 1300 hrs)
Millennium Trophy at Swinton Park Tuesday 10th July (Tee times probably 1300 to 1600 hrs)
President’s Scratch KO & Secretary’s Challenge at Swinton Park – evenings of 23, 24 & 25 July at 5 pm
Junior match vs Bolton&DGA at Prestwich – Wednesday 20th June (Tee times probably 1600 - 1800 hrs)
Junior match vs Bury&DGA at Worsley – Wednesday 8th August (Tee times probably 0900 - 1000 & 1300 - 1400 hrs)
Autumn Mixed Trophy at Pike Fold – Saturday 15th September (Tee times probably 1000 - 1400 hrs)
